Library Hours for Veterans Day

The library will be closed on Monday, November 12, 2018 for Veterans Day. We will be open for our normally scheduled hours for the rest of the week- which includes being open Saturday November 10, 2018, from 10am-3pm.

Math Brush-ups

The Learning Center is offering math brush-ups online or in short intensive workshops focused on various topics covered in Math 60-98 to help improve student success..

These are good for students who are interested in:

  • Preparing for the placement test
  • Previewing next quarter’s math class
  • Preparing for finals in their current math class

If you have questions or are interested in attending an in-person brush up, contact Kenji Seta or by visiting room 1519, Academic Success Center (first floor of library building).

Summer Hours

The library is closed June 22 – July 1, 2018.

The library is open during summer quarter, July 2nd – August 16th:

Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm

Friday 10am-2pm (only until August 3, 2018)

Closed Tuesday July 4th for Independence Day.

The library is closed from August 17 – September 9, 2018.

The library is open  from September 10 – September 14: 10am – 2pm.

We resume regular hours on September 17, 2018.

Closed Memorial Day, open Saturday

The campus is closed Monday May 28th in observance of Memorial Day.

However!

The library is open 10am-3m Saturday May 26th, regular hours.

Library OPEN Friday 2/9

Although there are no classes Friday Feb. 9th for campus meetings (All College Day) the library will be Open regular hours.

We are also open as usual on Saturday (10am-3pm).

And there is always 24 hour chat help!

Tutoring

If you need help with assignments or just a place to study the The Learning Center is the place for you. They offer subject specific tutoring in a wide variety of subjects so you can get any extra help you need with your classwork. Don’t fall behind. You can just drop in when it is convenient to you, but remember to check the schedule to see when the subject specialist you need is available.

Grayland Artist Eric Faramus

Visit the Library gallery if you need a breath of fresh air and some vivid colors during these gloomy days.  Work by Grayland artist Eric Faramus is on display until mid-February.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day hours and info!

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. the library will be closed on Monday, January 15th. We will resume normal operating hours on Tuesday, January 16th.

Born January 15, 1929, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a leader of the African-American Civil Rights Movement, as well as an American Baptist minister, humanitarian, and activist. He believed in, and practiced, nonviolent civil disobedience to bring about social and political change in America.
