Welcome to Spring Quarter!

As spring quarter starts and you settle back into your school-work-life juggling routine, we want you to know that the library is  here to help!

We can help you find the information you need for your papers and projects. In addition to the books, magazines, journals and DVDs available in the library there are tens of thousands more available online through our web site.

Be sure and become familiar with our open hours (hint: we are open some evenings and Saturdays!)

Spring break & finals week hours

Finals week: The library will close at 4:30pm on Thursday March 23rd. We will be open 10am-2pm on Friday March 24th.

Thanksgiving Hours: early closure Wed, Open Sat

The library is closing early on Wednesday the 23rd, at 4:30pm, for the Thanksgiving holiday. We are also be closed on Thursday, November 24, 2016 and Friday, November 25, 2016 for the Thanksgiving holiday.

We will, however, be open on Saturday the 26th for our normal hours of 10am to 3pm!!

Library Hours for Veterans Day

The library will be closed on Friday, November 11, 2016 for Veterans Day. We will be open for our normally scheduled hours for the rest of the week- which includes being open Saturday from 10am-3pm.

Upcoming Library Schedule!

Finals Week for Spring Quarter 2016 (Monday, June 20th through Thursday, June 24th):

Mon – Wed) 7:30am to 8:00pm

Thurs) 7:30am to 4:30pm

Fri) Closed – Congratulations Graduates!

 

The Library will be closed during Break Week (Friday, June 24th through Monday, July 4th).

 

Summer Quarter 2016 (Tuesday, July 5th through Thursday, August 11th)

Mon – Thurs) 8:00am to 5:00pm

Fri) 10:00am to 2:00pm

Sat & Sun) Closed

 

Summer Break 2016: The library will be closed from Friday, August 12th through Sunday, September 18th.

 

Normal operating hours will resume on Monday, September 19th for Fall Quarter 2016.

Closed Memorial Day

The library will be closed on Monday May 30th in observance of Memorial day. The entire college campus is closed.

We are Open as usual on Saturday May 28th, from 10am-3pm.

The library is closed on Friday Feb. 12th for All College Day, and Monday Feb. 15th for President’s Day.

We are OPEN as usual on Saturday, Feb. 13th. Regular hours of operation, 10am-3pm.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day hours and info!

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. the library will be closed on Monday, January 18th. We will resume normal operating hours on Tuesday, January 19th.

Born January 15, 1929, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a leader of the African-American Civil Rights Movement, as well as an American Baptist minister, humanitarian, and activist. He believed in, and practiced, nonviolent civil disobedience to bring about social and political change in America.

If you would like to know more about Dr. King please visit the John Spellman Library. We have DVDs, eBooks, print books, and great articles for you!

Winter Break Library Hours

The library will be closed Saturday, December 12, 2015 through Sunday, January 3, 2016.

We will have reduced hours on Friday December 11 (10am to 2pm), and on Monday, January 4, 2016 (10am to 2pm).

We will resume our normal operating hours on Tuesday, January 5, 2016.
